Included are the flags for every country, the capital city and main language for each country as well as two to three facts for every country in South America. Useful for introducing South America or countries within South America as well as being able to create a fact file using the slides.

Geography assessment grids from Year 1 to 6 that can be used to check children's understanding and use as a progress measure if wished. These are to be used as best fit as there may be some areas they are weaker/ more confident in with the aim being a best fit judgement. I created these as there appears to be a gap in geography assessment at the minute in primary schools since the move to assessment without levels. This enables schools to have something in place for a foundation subject that links well to other curricular areas, as well as showing an assessment system should visitors wish to know how you monitor progress.

Attached are a number of resources to try and help in the build up to SAT's. This includes 36 fully planned lessons to run from February half term with planning, slides and worksheets attached that operate on a mastery basis to develop children's reasoning and problem solving. These are for children to pick between based on confidence. The reason for 36 lessons is so that you can also focus on other areas such as angles, graphs and rotation as desired or key target areas within your class. Where lessons are repeated, worksheets are repeated as purely revision. Within the presentation are slides for other lessons as a starting point. Also included are mini-arithmetic tests and problem solving task cards children can work through and a revision mat of key facts.

Attached are 5 lessons based on using map skills and linking them to the Industrial Revolution. These have been written with Year 5/6 in mind but are easily adaptable. Included are the slides, resources and differentiated lesson plans. Attached are moderation grids for the interim statements (recently released 2016-2017) for Writing, Science and Maths. This includes working below and greater depth for writing and can be used as a simple tick box exercise. Whilst they include many potential tick boxes, these are in no way how many pieces of evidence you require.

An activity for children to do at the start of a new school year/ for class swap days. Get children to draw themselves, describe themselves, identify their favourite subjects and activities outside of school as well as getting children to set three targets (for in or out of school) and think of one thing new they would like to do in the next year.

An activity made for the start of the new school year. This activity acts as an ice breaker, giving children the chance to talk to one another and get to know each other more. Included are 25 statements that children have to find someone else to match to. Some statements are more common events e.g. made a snowman whilst some are more specific e.g. been to France. At the end, it can then be used as a class discussion to see who has done what and also pick out more details for certain events.

A Maths game that works on revising some key vocabulary such as prime numbers, multiples and using the greater than and less than symbol as well as opening up varied discussion about why particular numbers fit where they do or why they should be used elsewhere. Everything needed to play this is attached including an explanation of the rules. Perfect for a starter, plenary or just for a 5-10 minute break where they can practise some reasoning activities.

Attached is a version of a potential calculation policy that people can use for ideas to help in developing their own. Each year group is broken down in to the 4 operations, identifying mental and written methods and linking to other strands in the curriculum. Written methods are kept to a minimum to ensure children become 'experts' in that method and to ensure consistency throughout teaching.

A PowerPoint that focuses on the upcoming election on 8th June. This can be used for either a general class presentation or as an assembly to introduce children to the election. Within the PowerPoint is how the election came about, what comes next, who is eligible to vote, how the vote went in 2015 and the main parties that sit in Parliament and their leaders. Also included is a quiz that links to information in the PowerPoint that is done in a Who Wants to be a Millionaire fashion. A lesson design format that can be used to ensure children 'master' mathematical concepts. The aim of this resource is to consider different elements of the lesson that when put together can ensure children make good progress through the lesson/ series of lessons. The publisher version can be used to type on as a lesson plan or it can be used purely to design a lesson presentation/ resources. Key questions are included to start thinking about different elements. Whilst it isn't a definitive list, it encourages staff to consider the elements that will push children on and ensure they gain procedural fluency and conceptual understanding.

A Powerpoint that looks at how to use the P.E and Sport Premium funding efficiently. It introduces the aims of the funding before providing different ideas of how the funding could be used whilst making sure that it is an efficient use. This includes looking at the use of coaches, working collaboratively and equipment before then discussing the importance of monitoring and how to ensure measureable impact. An academic poster that explores routes of how to spend the sport premium to ensure that the impact is felt in school years after the funding has stopped. Created over three years ago, but still relevant in terms of ensuring outstanding physical education across schools and ensuring that funding is spent in a sustainable manner.
